Lincoln Drugs, located on Coolidge and Lincoln Avenue, opened in 1955, originally owned by Julius Passerman. Allan Passerman, Julius’ son, took over the pharmacy in the mid-1970s, and the pharmacy’s legacy as a family business pursued. Allan's mother, as well as his sons Brian, Mark and Danny have all spent time working at Lincoln Drugs. In 1988, Sam Louissa bought the drugstore while Allan continued to run the pharmacy. Sam’s sons also work at the store. The staff family at Lincoln Drugs greets every customer by name and continues their commitment to the health of the community to this day.
